Stu’s rig is pretty badass, I think the Giant Omnium is one of the best box bikes around.

If your based on the Sunshine coast be sure to get in contact with him and go for a ride!
Info here werunthenight

Frame/Fork:
2010 Giant Omnium 55.5cm, ALUXX SL-Grade Aluminum, Aero Track Design with Advanced-Grade Composite, Alloy OverDrive Steerer
Bars: Cinelli Pista Stem with Shimano PRO Vibe 7S Track Handlebars
Seat/Post: Giant Vector Composite Seatpost & Selle bassano saddle
Cranks/BB: Truvativ Omnium 1.1 track  Truvativ GXP, External
Pedals: Welgo track pedals with Allcity double strap cages
Sprocket: Currently running a 15t surly into a 52t FSA (it’s nice on long straights but hard to pick it up in short tighter areas)
Front Wheel: High Flange Track Specific Sealed Bearing laced into 20h Giant Alloy SL Aero 42mm
Rear Wheel: 32h 6061 AL & carbon fiber Chub hub laced into a tb14 h+plus son

What is your favorite part about the bike?
I loved the chub hub, I got the wheel built when I was over in Thailand by a local fixed gear shop call Sixty Fixie with the help of the Sealee shop for spokes, we had to catch a train and walk for half an hour to find this shop. They gave us a warm welcome when we arrived and they made us feel at home while the wheel was being made. Other than that I love what the Cinelli stem has done for the aesthics but also I love how much it drops you down to get into people slips streams.

Describe your bike setup and how you like your bike to feel.
This bike has the feel I have been looking for, stiff, strong very responsive. I have crashed this bike twice and both times it has come off a lot better than I have. I’ve had done a century ride on this bike and the only thing I would change would be the saddle. The cranks are killer, so stiff! I can feel flexing in other cranksets I have but these are all business. I feel like I don’t do this bike justice and I fail it rather than it fails me.

Why did you build this style of bike?
I wanted something aggressive

How does it feel in your hands?
Amazing, there’s something about it that feels unique, for a heavily produced commercial frame I do think they have souls (as lame as that sounds). Slow or fast it’s a pleasure to ride.
