Over the weekend I had the chance to take a Specialized P.Fix out for a quick spin. This is Specialized’s interpretation of a fixed gear freestyle bike, for a box bike its really well fitted (brakes, foot retention etc). This bike has a lot of features that have been influenced by the fixed gear community, an interesting feature of this bike is the stock foot retention system. Its very similar to the BO Gear system same concept just differently executed.
I wouldnt even consider myself a freestyle rider but this was pretty fun to ride its not heavy but you know its solid enough to huck of something big (if that’s your thing). This bike as been set up for freestyle but I could also see this being used for bike polo chucky 26inch tyres and loads of clearance would be more then welcomed on the polo court. Its not 700c but its still alot of fun to chuck around, This bike is now available for sale at Mikes Bikes for $900.
